On-site verification
An aerial number is a starting point, not a measurement you can sign.
This cannot be ticked until a site visit date is entered.
Define the fence, one run at a time
A run is one side. Name it the way you would say it out loud on site.
Doors (gates)
Doors are priced per foot of width, the way the sheet prices them. A 4-foot single door is 4 feet at the single-door cost per foot; a 12-foot double door is 12 feet at the double-door cost per foot. Each door's width comes out of the fence line, so no foot is priced twice.
Waste, cuts and posts
Posts are calculated per run at the spacing above, plus a terminal post at each end of each run and each side of each gate.
Fence type and height
The nine fence types of your fence sub-budgeting sheet.
Cost lines
These are the estimate's fence lines (category 01): the same lines, the same calculation. Every line says what its price is based on; a price or quantity set in the estimate shows here too.
Authorisation path
Each step unlocks the next. Nothing here sends anything to anyone.
Where this goes next
This budget feeds the fence lines of the estimate (category 01). The other categories, subcontracted scopes and the client budget live there.
